Change in Park Fee PaymentsAs of August 20, 2023, all Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) park fee payments are required to be paid through the E-citizen platform. To access the KWS products on E-citizen, please use the following link: http://kws.ecitizen.go.ke New Entrance Fee for Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Starting September 19, 2023, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has implemented a new entrance fee for all visitors. This is part of the revised entry protocols at the SWT Nursery, which now require all visitors to pay the Nairobi National Park entry fee which amounts to USD 43 in addition to the entrance fee to the Orphanage through the E-citizen platform. Change in Masai Mara Park Fee Ticket Validity From 1 July 2023, there has been a change in the entry fee validity period, where the validity duration for the daily entry fee into the Masai Mara has been adjusted from 24 hours to 12 hours. As a result, every guest will be required to have a valid park ticket for every night that he or she stays in any of our camps. On departure day, guests will need to be at the airstrip or leave the Reserve by 10 a.m. Possible Increase in Masai Mara Reserve Park Entry Fees The Narok County Government is considering raising the park fees for the Masai Mara Reserve for different seasons with the fee increasing by up to 20% during peak season. The proposed increase will see non-resident adult fees increase to USD 100 per night from January 1, 2024, and to USD 200 per night from July 1, 2024. According to the Narok County government, the fee increase is necessary to help cover the costs of managing and protecting the reserve. We will provide you with the updated fee schedule once it is finalized. |
